It began when I was 18 and became a Christian. Within a few months, I had joined the music group at my local church and began learning to play guitar. A few months later I started to sing. Shortly afterwards I began to lead musical worship at church and developed a passion for song writing, worship and intercession. As well as being a church musician throughout the 90’s, I also started a wedding music agency, hiring out guitarists for weddings and business events.

Around this time, I joined a local city-wide Prayer Movement in my then-home city of Peterborough, and for 7 years led I musical worship every Wednesday morning at the the event that became known as "Trumpet Call.''  News of the weekly prayer meeting spread across the city and every week, churches from all over the area gathered with us from around 12+ denominations to seek God for revival. It was in these prayer meetings that I wrote the song ‘’Tears For The Lost.’’ 

I felt early on that one day I would record and release my own music, but in those days the only way of doing that was with very expensive recording studios – something that was unreachable for me at the time.
